Can Knockdown 3 is a game where you...knock down cans. It may sound simple and straightforward--because it is in many ways--but Can Knockdown 3 adds quite a few variations throughout the course of the game, keeping it fresh and interesting.
I have played all three games in the series--it is a bit weird realizing there is a series about knocking down cans--and the biggest change in Can Knockdown 3 is the change in format from a focus on arcadey, get as far as you can, leaderboard-chasing simplicity, to a level-based, puzzle-esque format. The 'Endless ' mode that was the focus of the previous games is still hidden within, but only becomes available for a specific area when said area is 100% completed. It is a design choice that makes little sense as I see no reason to initially lock the mode that was the main focus of the previous games. That said, the levels aren't particularly difficult, so unlocking 'Endless' mode for each area shouldn't take too long.]]>
This week's PSN sales are not too exciting, but there is a new free game as always and it's one of those fancy schmancy cross-buy games for both PSN and Vita. Also, if you somehow haven't played Persona 3 FES yet, go buy it right now as it's only $4.99 and worth ten times that much (then buy Persona 4 Golden and thank me later). This week’s Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' is all about Battlefield 3. Are you a bigtime player of Battlefield 3? If you said yes, you probably already own all of this content and could care less about this deal; however, if you are more of an occasional player looking for something to make the game feel fresh and new (or a new owner of said game), now is the perfect time to stock up on Battlefield 3 DLC. And I don't know about you, but I'm a tad tempted as this had reminded me that the game exists and that I actually had fun with the multiplayer while despising the single-player.

Castle Crashers may be an oldie--though not as much for PC and Mac gamers--but it is still one hell of a great time and holds up extremely well. If you have yet to crash some castles, now you can if you're feeling lucky (more so if you're actually lucky).
