PSP #212: The Work of Makoto Shinkai - The Place Promised in Our Early Days, 5cm per Second, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and The Garden of Words / Punch Line / Say, "I love you"

In today's episode, a very tired Marc talks about the many works of Makoto Shinkai--including the beautiful short film, The Garden of Words, the very Studio Ghibli-inspired, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, and a very short film about a cat and its owner simply called, She and Her Cat. And after Marc gets that abundance of Shinkai out of their system, they talk about a few series--Punch Line and Say, "I love you"--one of which they just don't get and the other being full of the feels; go ahead and guess which is which; it shouldn't be too difficult.

Anyway, that's it and that's all, folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, donate a little money or subscribe to show your support for the site and show(s); it's not free to host the site, the show, to make and record videos, and everything in between, so, anything would be greatly appreciated, even if you just tell a friend or two about the site and show(s). Y'all can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's what ya like. And, of course, many of the shows discussed (if not all) are on Crunchyroll and, if y'all haven't signed up for an account just yet, well, what are y'all waiting for?! Finally Finished: "Mudkip Evolution"

I love me some Pokémon and so does a friend, so, well, I thought I'd throw something together for his upcoming birthday and, since he loves Swampert, this is what I pulled out of the mud and flung onto a piece of illustration board. Anyway, there isn't much to say about this piece other than I hope y'all like it, but, honestly, as long as my friend likes it that's all that matters. (And yes, I have already given him his gift before posting this--happy [early] birthday Alex!--because as stupid as I can be, I'm not that stupid...usually.)

PSP #211: When Marnie Was There Review / MY love STORY!! and Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma / Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark Review / Fairway Solitaire Woes

In today's episode, Marc continues talkin' a whole hell of a lot about anime since he's finally up to date with both Food Wars! and Ore Monogatari, but the anime doesn't stop there; Marc also reviews (without spoilers) what may be the final Studio Ghibli movie, When Marnie Was There--which is absolutely beautiful and must be seen in theaters for those lucky enough to have it playing near them. After all that lovely anime is out of the way, Marc finishes the episode with their final thoughts about Schrödinger's Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark and what may be the end of their relationship with Fairway Solitare!

Finally Finished: "IGN Anime Club/Yay Anime!"

My love for anime is still a bit fresh, relatively speaking--I watched and loved Pokémon and Digimon growing up, but I never ventured too far down the rabbit hole (and didn't get into Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, or the like)--but I recently opened myself up to the world of anime--so happy I did--and one of my favorite anime-related things to do when not watching a series is the (also) fairly fresh IGN podcast, IGN Anime Club, hosted by three lovely ladies and various guests each week. Anyway, I felt like sketching up a little something for the show since the first episode 'cause art is what I do and it's what I like to do to show my appreciation when much appreciation is felt and, well, I finally found the free time to get 'er done and get 'er done I did. I hope y'all enjoy this little here piece of the aforementioned lovely hosts of IGN Anime Club--it's a great show and y'all really should give it a listen.

PSP #210: AniMondays with MY love STORY!!, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, Voices of a Distant Star, and Say "I love you" / The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt / Rogue Legacy

In today's anime-rific episode, Marc talks a wee bit more about the absolutely delightful MY love STORY!! (Ore Monogatari), then follows that up with a little chatter about the crazy ecchi, Food Wars! Shokugeki no Soma, and the somber OVA, Voices of a Distant Star, before ending with the not-so-delightful--in other words, not happy, but still good and full of the feels--Say "I love you." And once Marc gets all that anime out of his system, he touches on The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Rogue Legacy--which finally found its way to the Xbox One.
