Podcast - DF #58: An inFamous Bionic Commando

This week's show is surrounded with sadness; Gus Yoo has bid farewell to Distributed Failure. He may come back down the road, but for the time being he will no longer be pooping on air for your listening pleasure. We're sure as hell going to miss him and hopefully he hasn't been scarred too deeply from chatting with us for all these weeks. Here's to you Gus Yoo, the man best known for his poo, you were one of a kind!

We start this week's show like every other show (big surprise?) with "What We've Been Playing" and discuss such games as Bionic Commando, inFamous, Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Resistance: Fall of Man, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Wheelman, and much more! We follow that up with some gaming news including the leaked trailer for "Project Trico", the news of Atlus bring Demon's Souls stateside, and more. We end the show with a tiny dump of sausage and can only think to plug my sausage of pixelation.

The show was a little "wack" this week due to all the crizzle-crap that went down, but it still turned out to be an alright episode. Stay tuned for a more upbeat episode next week...who knows, we may even have a special guest! I hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate us on iTunes! :)

Question for next week: What will you miss most about sir Gus Yoo?

Podcast - DF #57: My Patapon is Sacred Too

This week's episode of Distributed Failure is a bit disjointed with the "regular" show featuring only me and Rob. After that, we have a short segment of Gus and myself talking about Patapon 2 and wonders/horrors of Netflix. This is all due to Gus' attempt at becoming a "rockstar" up in good ol' Canada, but we all know that he uses the bathroom way too frequently to ever make it in the music business.

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features a wide range of games including Sacred 2: Fallen Angel, Rune Factory: Frontier, Patapon 2, Plants vs. Zombies, Legendary, Hellboy: The Science of Evil, and much more! We follow that up with some gaming news including the closure of Factor 5 studios and the possible announcement of a "slim" PS3. After that, we dive into the "Sausage Dump" and chat up some movies, as well as the Lost finale. I hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate us on iTunes!

Question for next week: What does "chit" more closely resemble..."shit" or "clit"?

Podcast - DF #56: Plants vs Zombies vs Hugh Jackman

Another week and another podcast is here for your listening displeasure. This week's "What We've Been Playing" features discussion on Plants vs. Zombies (it's friggin' amazing!), X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Lost Odyssey, the Broken Steel DLC for Fallout 3, The Maw, Resident Evil 5, Chromehounds (What!?) and more!

We follow that up with some gaming news including the orgasmic reveal of an HD remake of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time! After gaming news, we dive into the sausage dump with our thoughts on the Wolverine film, as well as a disturbing story about the "Chinese New Year" from the one, the only, the Yoo! Check out the show below and don't forget to review/rate us on iTunes! :)

Question for next week: How did they manage to ruin the Wolverine film that much?

TMNT: Turtles in Time HD in action!...too bad this person doesn't know how to play video games. Ughhhh, shellshock.

Podcast - DF #55: WTF Bionic Commando

Distributed Failure is back for yet another show, this time will a full crew! Rob is back after dealing with his little bout with herpes (all is well now) and the show gets particularly crazy near the end. Side Note: Rob didn't really have herpes, but he may have had a slurpee.

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features such games as Lost Odyssey, Patapon 2, Bionic Commando, Pure, Soul Calibur IV, and the conclusion of all Dawn of War II talk. We follow that up with a little gaming news including the official announcement of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for XBLA/PSN, the "cancellation" of Six Days in Fallujah, and a few more tidbits. We end the show with a little movie talk and an odd discussion devoted to nasty sexual fetishes...good times, good times.

Question for next week:
Why are feet so damn nasty?
