This week's show is, first and foremost, dedicated to DCBW, one of our loyal listeners who recently showed more generosity than any listener before, generosity that is greatly appreciated and our thanks can never truly be expressed. (Well, at least mine; I don't want to speak for Rob as he's quite expressive.) Now, as far as the show goes, we talked about a decent chunk of games ranging in platforms from Xbox 360 to the Vita to the 3DS and eventually the new iPad. I am very sad to say Rob did not finish Mass Effect 3 before recording the show and thus there is no significant Rob-raging to report.
In this episode we have four voicemails—you heard me right, I said four—and talk about Mass Effect 3 and the drama associated with the massive game full of at least three effects. We also hit a nice variety of games in the stereotypical "What We've Been Playing" bit and I go over my little time with the new iPad that is most definitely not called the iPad 3. We do hit some news—like the acquisition of Giant Bomb and Comic Vine by CBS Interactive and the increase in achievement points coming soon to XBLA games—and somehow manage to bring up Kickstarter yet again. The games and whatnot we discuss, you ask? Check 'em below.
Games:
- Mass Effect 3
- Tales of Graces f
- Silent Hill: Downpour
- Flight Control Rocket
- I Am Alive
- Crush 3D
- Unit 13
