Yesterday was such a busy day that I completely forgot to post this week's Chiptune Weekly, but never fear for Zippy is here—Zippy's a cookie man and a reference no one will get. I enjoy using this little time we have together to discuss my own nonsense and chip chat it up with horrible jokes. For instance, I love swimming and whenever I leave a pool after a solid hour of swimming, my body feels like it can do anything for roughly fifteen minutes. Then, I start a walkin' and a movin' and a shakin' like a drunkard. Does anyone else encounter this phenomenon?

This week's Chiptune Weekly features a forceful dragon, a fold of seven avenging sheep, and Coheed and Cambria. Sorry, but I had no idea as to what I should do with that last band. Listed below are the tracks and bands I made on racks with my own two hands while smoking a little crack I got from the land. Hey there Chip 'n' Dale, how have you been these past few months? Wait, you're telling me it's been all Dale and no Chip for a while now? Well I am sorry to hear that, but hopefully that will change starting with today. Okay, that is where I end in what can only be described as some odd form of fanfic. I am here to welcome back the return of an old feature I enjoyed and a few readers also enjoyed—Chiptune Weekly. Can I get a hallelujah? Seriously, is there a store that sells them on the cheap or something?

Do you like movies? Do you like John Williams? If yes, you're probably going to enjoy this week's crop of chips. You see, this week I'm taking you on a journey to Jurassic Park—a park that will soon make you want to go back to the future. Chiptune Weekly: Show me the money

Today is a—potentially—glorious day. If all goes according to plan, I am officially a graduate/owner of a piece of paper. But no one cares about all that—some music other than jazz. I am here to deliver your weekly dose of chiptunes and feel somewhat stupid for not taking a graduation theme. You will soon realize my success in both statements and you're thanking whatever God you pray to that you don't have to listen to a song like this: "Graduation (Friends Forever)"

This week's chiptune treatment features royalty, a soccer—football in all other countries—penalty, and the creator of Myspace. That's right, we have a killer queen breathing as she's free fallin'. For those counting, you just received two obvious clues sandwiching one generic title. I know my jokes are horrible, but that's why I love them and that is most definitely why you love them. And in all honesty, memories of Jerry Maguire are to blame for tune number three.

Chiptune Weekly: If you want a sign, come to the party

Another week and another chance to reminisce about the good ol' days. The songs featured today range in age, but none are anywhere near the baby age. I don't currently feel like chatting due to software annoyances—a.k.a., Microsoft Word is being a word that rhymes with witch and is synonymous with Oprah—and I am too lazy to try something else. Woe is me. I think it's time for some tuneage.

This week's delectable feature of music features some tunes featuring artists that have been featured in such feature films as American Pie and Idle Hands. "Idle hands," you say, as you see the sign in a parking lot. This supposed "sign" gives directions to a party, a party where you will finally find out that I've always wanted you to want me. Sometimes, I shock myself with my own nonsense. I probably need medical care, but I'll postpone that tune-up with another tune-up.

Chiptune Weekly: Beat it before you rape me

Chiptune Weekly is back after a brief vacation of the little bunny kind. This return brings some newer tunes to play on all the unsold Zunes. Oh shit, I'm already rhyming. What now? ...Maybe I need to work on my timing. I'm going to give it a rest for now and get down to business. But, before it becomes business time, I just want to say I actually enjoyed the Zune in all of its forms.

This week brings some tunes to play with your friend, Buddy Holly. While listening to said tunes, you can beat it just before you rape me. Okay. Out of context, that sounds rather awful, but it's just a few song titles and what is probably my favorite Nirvana song. I don't want to get rapped or anything, but I'll happily let Nirvana rape my eardrums any day. It's time to start the show.

Chiptune Weekly: happy days in TV land

Chiptune Weekly: the feature more reliable than most of your relationships! This week's lineup stays old, but moves over to television theme songs. Most of these shows started before the majority of my audience was probably born, but I may be completely wrong—which would be admittedly awesome—in my audience assumptions. Side note: I know I started this as a chiptune cover feature, but I may throw out some originals in the future.

I predict happy days in your future, as you move on up to a place where everyone knows your name. Once again, it's as easy as 1, 2, 3. And no, there are no Jacksons or alphabet songs slippin' in this week. I hope you enjoy some good ol' chiptune love for some good ol' television fun. One last thing: if you have any requests, feel free to leave a comment and I'll see what I can do.

Chiptune Weekly: wiping a fire under a rising sun

It's time for more chiptunes and salsa! That's not funny, but that's why you guys (and gals) love me. I have always been a fan of "oldies" and all that jazz since I was a wee pup and that love has been creepin' into the weekly chiptune fix. That trend won't be stopping this week and it may not be a popular choice, but I do what I gotta do and I be doing it now as I do. It has officially been done.

This week's feature has some doors, some surfer, and some animals. What does that mean? It means you will probably wipe out as someone lights my fire under the house of the rising sun. You have no excuse if you miss any of those "hints," unless you're thirteen or something ridiculous like that. Up shutting time as you tune your radios to station chip.

Chiptune Weekly: The Beach Boys are surf ninjas

This little feature of chiptune delight it still going strong and tonight I shall take you all to the beach, boys. I may be showing my figurative age with my most recent outings—or possibly that I'm Jackie Chan in a black man's vehicle—but I am enjoying the music and that always comes first. And for all those paranoid people in tinfoil hats and rose-colored glasses, I really am a youngin' who just so happens to enjoy what we call, "oldies."

What's on the slab for tonight's chippified feast? Well, wouldn't it be nice if I told you the songs? I bet it would; in fact, I bet Barbara Ann would really love that. But, you better watch out for that Barbara Ann, I hear she gets around. You know the drill and know my sneakiness is nothing but a waste of time, but I enjoy being stupid and I hope you enjoy being stupid too.

Chiptune Weekly: phoning it in

Can you guess what time it is? No, it is not party time. No, it is not time for dinner. No, sausage is not an acceptable answer because everyone knows that anytime is sausage time. You give up? Well, it just so happens to be chiptune time and this week's tunes are completely phoned in. That's right, I am rather preoccupied with midterms and all of that jazz, so I won't act like the tunes didn't suffer; however, there are still chips and tunes and a little bit of immaculate conception.

What will be finding a road to your eardrums today? I can safely say that I am full of faith I will find someone to take on me as a I start dancing with myself. There are two obvious (and easy) titles "hidden" away, but one may potentially elude you until you look an inch below for the actual names. I will now commence shutting up as I doubt you want to hear me rambling and I really have to crunch a little time and focus on something other than sausage for the time being.
