Steam Holiday Daily Deal: 12/28/11, defending dungeons

Yesterday's Steam sales (12/27/11) weren't so great at delivering a taste I craved, but I didn't hate; instead, I just decided to wait for another day. I didn't have to wait long as today (12/28/11) has brought some rather delicious tastes to my gaming tongue—I should probably look into why I enjoy rhyming so much and get that fixed; nah, it gives me what little charm and personality I have. Back on topic, the deals today are steaming with great prices on great games. You read that right, I said the deals were "steaming" because boy, am I one clever dude.

The first game I want to recommend I've recommended numerous times before: a little game called Dungeon Defenders. The game has been 75% off previously and if you missed out then, now's your chance to pick it up and fix your mistake. P.S. I highly recommend you convince your friends to pick it up as well; the multiplayer is where it's at—whatever "it" is.

Assassin's Creed is having a franchise sale ranging from 25% to 75% off and I can't comment on the latest release, Revelations, but I really enjoyed the previous games, even the first. In addition to a franchise that makes the word "creed" cool again, a couple of indie games are 75% off and while many have probably picked up copies via the numerous indie bundles, there are surely those who missed out on all the previous chances to pick up Machinarium and Revenge of the Titans, making now as good a time as any to pick up and support a couple of great indies. Also, a little franchise called Dead Space is 75% off too.
