Day nine of Steam's Summer Sale is full of reasons to high five as I continue to rhyme for an extended period of time. Jokes aside, I'm finding it hard to be cheerful after what happened in Colorado, but c'est la vie and what a life it is. Anyway, just as life doesn't stop in tragedy, neither do sales and Steam has a bunch of new games at higher discounts for your bargain hunting pleasure; though, "new" may be a bit of an overstatement as many of today's deals are deals seen over the past week in various forms—like "Flash Sales" or in the "Community's Choice."
Like I've said before, if you've missed the previous sales there are some great games for cheap in today's collection of games and franchises. Civilization V is great and there's really no need to need to describe the game because if you're interested in the slightest you already know what it's all about. Deus Ex (the original) is one of my favorite games of all time and I'm one of the few who genuinely enjoyed Invisible War; well, Human Revolution had a lot to live up to and it did all that and more as far as I'm concerned—a.k.a., buy it first and thank me second. And unlike yesterday, today's indie bundle is full of great games but, like always, they're games you might already own.
