Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' for 11/29 - 12/5

This week's Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' caps all over your com! What does that mean? I don't know, but a little addition and out pops Capcom. The games on sale are all Capcom related (obviously) and include a couple of game about fighting in the street or something like that, but who cares about that crap, I'm more interested in gettin' me some booty! Now I already own Age of Booty and quite enjoy it, believing it to be one of those "hidden gem"-esque games, but if you've yet to get yourself some booty, in more ways than one, get that booty all up in your face right now! P.S. I would also highly recommend Final Fight: Double Impact. And Street Fighter is what it is.

Free Meat Friday: Flock! (PSN)

The prize on this lovely day is a copy of Flock! on the PlayStation Network—a quite enjoyable little game that Mr. Hard Lines himself—Andrew Smith—had a part in. You-all have until tomorrow (10/29/11) at 12PM CST to enter and the winner will be contacted the same day. All you have to do to enter is click THIS and then click "Retweet." -- Make sure you follow me, @Kush3, so I can DM you with details if a winner is you. Otherwise, a winner is who? Seriously though, a failure to follow simple instructions can turn a potential winner into one of many "losers." And if you'd like a second entree to double your chances, leave a comment on any post and you'll be entered twice in this here giveaway.

*Giveaway entree process is over; winner is currently being randomly selected.

Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' for 10/25 - 10/31

Zombies are all the rage these days and seeing that Halloween is arriving in less than a week, it only makes sense to put games where dead things walk on sale, not to be confused with The Walking Dead—an enjoyable comic turned overrated TV show. What I'm getting at is the new Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week,' which is one-hundred percent Dead Rising themed and if you can't get past what I said seconds ago; yes, I called to TV adaptation of The Walking Dead overrated, which does not equate to being bad or Breaking Bad (so much better). To take the high road and prevent future ranting, and because everything said has little to nothing to do with the actual post, let me say that from today [10/25/11] to next Monday [10/31/11], you can grab a few Dead Rising games, all of which I rather enjoy, and all of which are listed below.

Free Meat Friday: Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite

No, this is not a vegetarian article or anything having to do with actual meat. Sausage is just one of many meats and therefore it barely manages to make sense. Anyway, this is the official source for all things related to giveaways. Each and every Friday, I will post a prize and give simple directions as to how you can win—most likely a simple Twitter post,  a comment here or there, something Facebook related, or something along those lines. So, what is the mystery prize this week?

The prize this week is a code for Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite on PSP. Entrees have until 12PM CST tomorrow (7/23/11) to enter and the winner will be contacted the same day with said code. All you have to do to enter is click THIS and then click "Retweet." -- Make sure you follow me, @Kush3, so I can DM you the code if a winner is you. Otherwise, a winner is who?

Memorable Gaming Moment 2003: Viewtiful Joe

2003 was a good year for the Gamecube. I already mentioned my love for Wind Waker in a previous feature, but another game came very close to topping that little Zeldarific memory. The game in question is Viewtiful Joe. This was a game birthed by Hideki Kamiya, the genius who’s brought us games like Resident Evil 2, Devil May Cry, Ōkami, and the recently released Bayonetta. Kamiya is known for his style, but he really upped the ante with Viewtiful Joe.
