Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD on sale now

I have started putting up little posts about games going on sale because when I think about it, I don't have a reason not to post about a sale for a game/product I love. The sale today is Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars HD—the iPad version—which has dropped to its lowest price to date: $2.99. I am a huge fan of this game and loved it on DS, PSP, and even found it quite playable on iOS. At merely three dollars, I don't see a reason for iPad owners to pass unless they never enjoyed the series. And to end this with something horrible, the only grand theft here is you paying only $2.99 for this great game. What?! It was such an obvious choice and I really couldn't help myself. Okay, that is a complete and utter lie. I could have totally helped myself.

Game of the Year Award Winners 2009

2009 is officially over and it’s about time I posted the winners of the Pixelated Sausage ’09 Gaming Awards. If you listened to the latest episode of Distributed Failure then you already know the outcome, but If you haven’t (what are you waiting for?) then this will all be new to you. We received twenty one votes in total and we had some very close categories. With all that said, it’s about time I revealed the answers.

Podcast - DF #63: Rob Overlording On Halo

Halo the pug to be more specific. This week's episode sees the return of an original member of Distributed Failure: Phil! The angry man from Indiana is back to hate on all the things you love, like bunnies and prostitutes!

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features many games including Overlord II, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Rocket Riot, Droplitz, Tenchu Z, Lego Batman, and the Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3. We follow that up with some gaming news including the acquisition of id Software by ZeniMax (parent company of Bethesda Softworks), the sales of FFVII on PSN, and the announcement that GTA: Chinatown Wars will be coming to the PSP. We end the show with the Sausage Dump and a very, very special surprise guest...you will not be disappointed with the awesomeness of this fine man!

We hope you enjoy the show and don't forget to rate/review us on iTunes

Podcast - DF #53: Riddick is a Fat Princess

This week's episode of Distributed Failure features only 2/3rds the excitement and 0/3rds the poo of a normal episode. That's right, once again we are without Gus due to his inability to poo and podcast at the same time. Never fear though, for Kush and Rob are here!

This week's "What We've Been Playing" features many sausagely delicious titles such as: The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, The Godfather II, Outrun Online Arcade, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Fat Princess, Valkryia Chronicles, and the Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC! We follow that up with a bit of gaming news, including the pathetically awful sales for Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars ...fuck you Nintendo fanboys! We then dive into the Sausage Dump with some TV/Book recommendations and wrap up the show with what we'd like to see at this year's E3!

Enjoy the show and don't forget to tell your friends about us...we could use the support! Don't forget to drink your Ovaltine!

Question: What the fudgesicle is up with this "potty dance" business?

Podcast - DF #49: Bru is Back - Bundle Edition

A brand new episode of Distributed Failure is now up for your listening displeasure! This week's episode is a bit odd, but we do have an extra special guest that our longtime listeners may remember. That's right, the one, the only, the hero has returned for a special guest appearance. Still lost on who I'm talking about? It's Brukaoru, the little lady who showed us how great the word "bundle" could be.

This week's episode features some in depth discussion on Resident Evil 5 and GTA: Chinatown Wars, as well as our thoughts on MadWorld, Killzone 2 (after I finally beat the game), Suikoden, Hasbro Family Game Night (fuck you Scrabble), Tales of the Abyss, and even more on Street Fighter IV. We follow that up with some listener questions and then end the show with our latest "Question of the Week".

I hope you guys enjoy this episode and hopefully my editing is good enough to please all your "earholes" out there (I'm not the usual editor). Don't forget to come back next week for episode #50!...My God, we are officially becoming old geezers!

For all the Atlus whores out there, here's a little video of the upcoming DS title Knights in the Nightmare. I must say that the gameplay has me quite intrigued.
