Another week and another episode of Distributed Failure is here for your listening pleasure! This is our special Christmas episode (sorry to all our Jewish listeners) and it was a good ol' time. We answer voice mails and user question, as well as opening our special gifts from the always awesome faeriekari!

Once again we have another long show, though you can expect a much shorter episode next week (BigSt3ph3n will be on vacation). More off-topic ramblings and many moments of shame, but let's get right into the meat of the show with "What We've Been Playing".
This week's "What We've Been Playing" features discussion of 'Splosion Man, Marvel vs Capcom 2, The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition, Ninja Blade, Overlord II, Fuel, and much more. We follow that up with some gaming news including the Splinter Cell: Conviction delay, the announcement of a sequel to The Darkness, Warren Spector's Disney game, and plenty more.

We end the show with a Sausage Dump of governmental rage! I(Kush) discuss my experience with what we call, "jury duty", and it's quite the tale. We follow that up with some gaming news including the acquisition of id Software by ZeniMax (parent company of Bethesda Softworks), the sales of FFVII on PSN, and the announcement that GTA: Chinatown Wars will be coming to the PSP. We end the show with the Sausage Dump and a very, very special surprise guest...you will not be disappointed with the awesomeness of this fine man!

She was kind enough to lend her voice (and vagina) for a little E3 after thoughts special and we are extremely happy to accommodate both. We start off this show like any other with “What We’ve Been Playing”. We talk about Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Red Faction: Guerrilla, Resistance: Fall of Man, Overlord II, the Uncharted 2 multi-player beta, and much more. We continuously stray off-topic, but eventually managed to get through “What We’ve Been Playing” and get down to business, the business that is “E-Trio”.
We began our E3 discussion with a breakdown of each of the Big 3’s press conferences and eventually choose a “winner”. We then talked about the surprising absences of E3, such as the absence of Rare and the lack of a PS3 Slim announcement. We follow that up with our best and worst moments/news from E3 and end it all with our game of the show.
We had a lot of fun recording this episode and we hope you enjoy listening to it.
