Xbox LIVE "Countdown to 2012": 12/20 - 01/02/12

The Xbox LIVE "Countdown to 2012" Sale is live and well, a whole lotta crap (not literal or figurative) is now on sale and every item is half price, so none of that 33% off garbage we sometimes see with 1200MS points content. All the games, DLC, Avatar items, are listed below, links included, and a few I would recommend you grab without hesitation would be Bastion, one of my favorite games (period) or the year; Plants vs. Zombies and Peggle, two Popcap classics you should own if not already; and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, a not too shabby "metroidvania"-esque game with a beautiful art style.
Daily deals will be updated and the current deal for this ol' Tuesday is Bastion, so act fast and don't be a bastard. All other deals will be good until January 2nd, 2012, so if you're hoping to recieve some MS points on Christmas, you have the ability to wait. In addition to the sales linked below, a bunch of Avatar items are on sale, but I couldn't care enough to link those too; it's not like they put any of the lovely Kinectimals pets on sale or anything. I'm also a bit saddened to see no XBLIG included in the sale; at least, none are included at this point in time.
