Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' for 04/17 - 04/23/12

This week's Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' is crap (again). Sure, the games on sale—a few Lego games—are cheaper than their retail counterparts, but not by much and they also take up quite a bit or valuable hard drive space. At only 25% off—which seems to be a popular discount for Games on Demand—it doesn't make any of the games particularly stand out as a must-buy and the wand avatar prop is just kind of ridiculous at either price. Anyway, if you haven't played any of the Lego games and have plenty of GBs to spare/hate physical media, grab a game or two; the Lego games have yet to grow old—which, if you haven't heard, is the entire point of Legos.

To get the games and whatnot, go straight to the Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' page by clicking THIS, or enjoy individual links below. Enjoy them or else! Or else I'll send more empty threats.

Lego Batman [On Demand] - ($19.99 ---> $14.99)

Lego Indiana Jones [On Demand] - ($19.99 ---> $14.99)

Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga [On Demand] - ($29.99 ---> $22.49)

  • Avatar Items

Lego Harry Potter - Wand [Avatar Item] - (400 MS points ---> 300 MS Points)

And remember, the Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' is only open to Gold members (Family Pack is Gold in case confusion exists), so if you're rocking a Silver (Free), you're shit out of luck.

Yes, yes it does. And don't expect anything better next week. (A small discount on NBA Jam: On Fire Edition and a bunch of avatar items are all you'll get.)

Not really impressed. Most DotWs are crap, unfortunately.

There tends to be one good DotW a month, two if we're lucky, and I expect a solid stream of crap for the next few weeks to make sure all the "Arcade Next" titles don't get overshadowed.
