Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' for 08/21 - 08/27/12

This week’s Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' is a seemingly random selection of XBLA games and a few pieces of DLC, some new to being on sale and some not. Of the games and whatnot on sale, I highly recommend SkyDrift—which I reviewed a while back—as it’s a lot of fun and a damn good deal at 600 MS points. Faery: Legends of Avalon is far from the greatest game, but I enjoyed my time overall and it’s definitely worth checking out, even if you have no love for faeries (I don’t). I haven’t really messed around with the other games in this sale, but at 50% off…why not give ‘em a try? Every XBLA game does have a free trial after all.
