PSP #374: Attempted Murder by Way of Cheesy Pancakes

Marc starts off today's cheesy episode with a story about Jaden Smith and how The Four Seasons, in Toronto, almost killed him with cheese "spiked" pancakes, followed by a story about how police officers in Japan don't know what to do with themselves these days. After that, Marc hits some anime and games with a preview of the sweet and adorable slice-of-life series, Tsukigakirei, and a review of the local multiplayer party game, Jump Stars, which, spoilers, is full of nothing but disappointment; also, Marc asks for advice on how they can help their father learn how to play non-linear video games, like Prey and BioShock—I know those aren't that open, but a game like Fallout would kill my father, literally, like how cheesy pancakes would have killed Jaden Smith. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly cheesy) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. And don't forget, you can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's your jam--you can probably buy jam on Amazon too.

PSP #373: Where a Story About a Mouse and an Egg Gets Way Out of Hand

Marc starts off today's meaty episode with a story about a mouse and an egg who go on a little adventure that quickly gets out of hand and grows more and more ridiculous in the most delightful of ways—I highly recommend checking it out via the links below. After that, Marc previews a few more spring anime—including Sakura Quest and Hinako Note—and then hits a few games—including a review of Spellspire and a preview of Embers of Mirrim. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly weird) show.

PSP #372: Where the Podcast Title is Super Long and Ridiculous Like Some Anime and Light Novels Because It's Not Like This is Annoying or Anything, Right? It's Not Like the World Will End Because of It, Right? We're Still Friends, Right?

In today's ridiculously titled episode, Marc starts off talking about something you should know about dollar movie theaters, that is, at least according to reddit. After that, Marc jumps back into the pool of spring anime with previews of SukaSuka (WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us?) and Seikaisuru Kado (KADO: The Right Answer), before ending with a preview of the Early Access brawler aptly titled, Brawlout. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly bad) show.

PSP #371: American Gods, Spellspire, and Granblue Fantasy The Animation

On today's show, Marc starts off with a preview of the upcoming word/role-playing game, Spellspire, coming soon (May 26th) to Xbox One. After that, Marc talks about the new Starz series based off Neil Gaiman's critically acclaimed book, American Gods, and follows that up with a preview of Granblue Fantasy The Animation, a new anime based on a popular mobile game of the same name (minus the animation bit, of course). Anyway, cheers and enjoy this rather weird, rather out of it, rather-rather show.

PSP #370: Spring 2017 Anime Preview (Part 2)

Marc follows up part one of their spring 2017 anime preview with, you'll never guess, part 2! (Oh my gods, y'all totally didn't see that coming, eh). Anyway, on today's continuation of Marc's spring anime preview—better late than never—Marc previews three more series: Eromanga Sensei, Love Tyrant, and Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor. Anyway again, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. PSP #369: Spring 2017 Anime Preview (Part 1)

Marc is primed and ready to finally talk about some spring anime on today's show and does just that...after going off on a tangent about how Sony crushed their hopes and dreams by stretching their PS4 release of Indigo Prophecy from 4:3 to 16:9. Anyway, after the tangent train loses steam, Marc previews three spring anime: My Hero Academia, Alice & Zouroku, and The Royal Tutor. Anyway again, cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #368: Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap Review

Marc reviews Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap, a remake of the cult classic, Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap, which originally released for the Sega Master System way back in 1989 (when Marc was just a wee 3-year-old). All that said, does Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap wonder us in the same way it wondered those back in the day, or does it show its age in a handful of disappointing ways? I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you (like so many things will do to you in Wonder Boy); however, if you listen to this here episode, all your questions will (probably not) be answered. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #367: Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Review

Marc reviews Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, a solid, if sometimes buggy, first-person shooter all about, you guessed it, sniping; though, you're free to go machine gun-crazy most of the time if that's what you fancy, but I don't know why you'd play a first-person shooter predominantly about sniping if you weren't into sniping; to each their own, eh. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #366: TumbleSeed Review

TumbleSeed is one of Marc's favorite games of 2017, if not their favorite (so far), and they talk all about why it's their favorite (and why it might become one of yours) on today's show. What is TumbleSeed? TumbleSeed is a unique little roguelike where you need to balance a seed on a platform while making your way up a mountain full of various colorful dangers, from holes in the ground to worms with big mouths. Sound weird? Well, it is weird, weird in all the best ways, but don't just take my written word for it, take my spoken word for it too 'cause, after all, that's what this post is all about. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the show (and, hopefully, some TumbleSeed too).

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. PSP #365: Snake Pass / Old Time Hockey

Today's episode starts off with a brief discussion about the new live-action Lion King movie and other random nonsense no one cares about. After that, Marc reviews two very different indie games: Snake Pass, where you play a snake who passes kidney stones every now and again, and Old Time Hockey, where you play hockey while punching opposing players in their kidneys with a fist full of stones. Cheers and enjoy the show.

P.S. The thing about the kidney stones is in no way actually true. Just in case you were wondering.
