PSP #348: John Wick: Chapter 2

Today's episode brings with it a bit of change for the podcast, but nothing too crazy, just some more focus and a (very likely) increase in frequency. Anyway, after Marc talks about the way this podcast will differ starting now until they decide to change things again, they review John Wick: Chapter 2, the highly-acclaimed sequel to John Wick, which Marc loved like, oh. Does Marc love John Wick: Chapter 2 just as much as (or more than) the first movie? Well, I guess you'll just have to listen to find out. Cheers and enjoy the show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. PSP #347: The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Sailor Moon, Zankyou no Terror, Warhammer Quest, and More

Today's episode is long a super rambly, just like you (probably don't) like it! Marc starts off the show talking about their return to vlogging and the Twitter conversation/debate they had during the wee hours of the night before eventually reviewing a handful of anime, including The Tale of the Princess Kaguya, Sailor Moon, Zankyou no Terror, and Eve no Jikan. And then, after getting all that anime out of the way, Marc gives their first impression of Warhammer Quest, a strategic RPG based on the tabletop game of the same name, which is finally making its way to consoles on February 24th, a.k.a., tomorrow. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #346: Trulon, Riptide GP: Renegade, and All the Delicate Duplicates

Today's episode is all about indie games all the time, every time, this time and that time, why time so serious while spicing up all the foods with thyme 'cause time. Time. Did that opening sentence make much sense? No, but neither does one of the games Marc reviews on today's show and, while I'd love to tell you which game it is, why would you listen if I did? Anyway, check out today's show if you want to hear Marc's thoughts about Trulon: The Shadow Engine, Riptide GP: Renegade, and All the Delicate Duplicates. Cheers and enjoy the show. P.S., It shouldn't be hard to figure out which game is the nonsensical one based on the titles alone. Cheers and enjoy the show again...for real this time. P.P.S., It's All the Delicate Duplicates.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. PSP #345: Persona 4 the Animation, Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, For Honor, and Flywrench

Marc takes time out of their hectic schedule today, which included an always terrible visit to the dentist, to review a couple of older anime—Persona 4 the Animation and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia (Dark Maiden of Amnesia)—and preview a few video games, including For Honor and Flywrench, which is the latest game from Messhof, the developers of Nidhogg. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #344: Oxenfree and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Because there was no Pixelated Radio this week due to technical difficulties, Marc decided to record a short little episode about the handful of games they played (and didn't get to talk about on the aforementioned other podcast) just one day after the recording the last episode. Anyway, enjoy a smidgen of chatter about Oxenfree, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, and not much else. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #343: Angel Beats! and Grave of the Fireflies

Marc takes out just a little bit of time to talk about a few anime this episode, first reviewing Angel Beats! and its first OVA, "Stairway to Heaven," and then follows that with a little discussion about Grave of the Fireflies and why they think some of the criticism it receives is unwarranted (and why they really like Isao Takahata). Anyway, that's it and that's all, cheers and enjoy the show (and be sure to check out Pixelated Radio later today).

PSP #342: Switching Between Michiko to Hatchin, Binbougami ga!, and Vertical Drop Heroes HD

Marc starts off today's show talking about how they're growing more and more excited about the Nintendo Switch and don't know why (but kind of do), before eventually reviewing two very different anime: Michiko to Hatchin and Binbougami ga! (Good Luck Girl!). After that they talk about the simple and fun roguelike, Vertical Drop Heroes HD, which will be hitting Xbox One on February 17. Anyway, that's it and that's all, cheers and enjoy the (way-longer-than-usual) show.

PSP #341: The Final Death Note and Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

Marc returns with more Death Note in this episode, reviewing the series as a whole now that they've finished it, and then they review another anime, Kaichou wa Maid-sama! (Maid Sama!), which is really good...at being really boring. After that, Marc talks about a little indie game full of lots of charm and many deaths, Pixel Heroes: Byte & Magic. Anyway, that's it and that's all, cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #340: Writing Death Notes on a Slimy Ranch

Marc doesn't waste time on today's show as they jump right into talking about Death Note, one of the best anime they've ever watched and one of the best English dubs they've heard. After that, Marc talks about a little indie game called Slime Rancher, a game where you get to collect cute little slimes and vacuum up more chickens than you could ever want, all while exploring a small little island in hopes of finding a secret or two...or maybe just a cave full of fresh slimy poop. (Note: no such cave exists, or, at least, I have yet to find such a poopy cave.) Anyway, that's it and that's all, cheers and enjoy the show.
