PSP #550: 2018 Game Awards Nominations

On today's show, Marc talks about the 2018 Game Awards nominations, what they'd like to see win, and what they expect to win, minus all the esports crap they know nothing about. They also talk about the amusement tax in Chicago and how it will affect digital purchases on the PlayStation store, which isn't all that amusing. Anyway, something-something preachy and breachy, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly strategic) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. PSP #549: Red Dead Redemption 2 Review

On today's show, Marc talks about Red Dead Redemption 2 for the last time, reviewing it in an extra rambling kind of way. In addition to all the cowboy talk, Marc also talks about Hitman Sniper Assassin, what it's like playing Call of Duty with their dad, and more Dragon Ball Z nonsense. Anyway, something-something shooty and root and tooty, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly way too long) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. Attack the Backlog #4: Mirror's Edge

Updated on Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 12:00PM by Registered CommenterMarc Kusnierz

In episode four of Attack the Backlog, Marc runs and jumps and slides their way through the world of Mirror's Edge, a first-person parkour game where you play as Faith, a "runner" who delivers packages for those looking to avoid the watchful eye of the oppressive government. But things get messy when Faith's twin sister Kate is framed for murder and you, being the great sister you are, try and save her. Mirror's Edge originally came out on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in November of 2008 (and on PC a few months later), and is also backward compatible on Xbox One. Anyway, something-something jumpy and grumpy, cheers and enjoy the show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. And don't forget, you can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's your jam--you can probably buy your favorite blueberry jam on Amazon too.

PSP #548: Dabbling in the World of Kynseed

On today's show, Marc talks about Kynseed, a little game being made by a small team, including some of the folk who made the Fable games, currently in early access and in early access for good reason, but the foundation is there and it's full of potential. In addition to that, they also talk about more Red Dead Redemption 2, plenty of nonsense, and more Dragon Ball Z. Anyway, something-something charming and with farming, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly discounted) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. PSP #547: My Favorite Sega Genesis Games

On today's show, Marc talks about Swap This! and Hardway Party, two fun little Switch games that, dare I say, are perfect for Switch (and more Red Dead Redemption 2 because, well, just 'cause). But the real meat and potatoes of today's show is dedicated to the Sega Genesis and some of Marc's favorite Genesis games. Anyway, something-something delightful and not-at-all insightful, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly nostalgic) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. PSP #546: Spinning Tires and Blasting Balls

On today's show, Marc talks about some more Red Dead Redemption 2 because you talk about what you play, eh, and they've been playing a lot of that there shoot and tootin' game. In addition to sucking gallons of poison like one does when they're an Illinoisan, Marc also talks about the American Wilds expansion for Spintires: MudRunner, the arcade volleyball game Super Volley Blast, and the very pixelated Super Pixel Racers. Anyway, something-something questionable and reputable, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly super) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. PSP #545: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and a Block That Loves Bananas and Mochi

On today's show, Marc talks about the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Direct despite knowing very little about anything Smash-related (in general). In addition to all that, they talk about more Red Dead Redemption 2 and a game with blocks and bananas and mochi (oh my) by the name of Zarvot. Also, like clockwork, more Dragon Ball Z nonsense. Anyway, something-something swishy and fishy, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly indifferent) show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks. PSP #544: Some of My Favorite Spooky Games

On today's show, Marc talks about more Red Dead Redemption 2 (big surprise), some Hungry Shark World 'cause why not, and a few of their favorite spooky games, including BioShock and Soma. Also, more Dragon Ball Z nonsense. Anyway, something-something scary and hairy, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly dead) show.

PSP #543: The PlayStation Kinda Classic

On today's show, Marc talks about the full list of games included on the PlayStation Classic, more Red Dead Redemption 2, a smidgen of Heavy Fire: Red Shadow, and just a dash of more Dragon Ball Z nonsense. Anyway, something-something hissing and missing, cheers and enjoy the anime-zing(ly subjective) show.

Attack the Backlog #3: Spec Ops: The Line

Updated on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 12:00PM by Registered CommenterMarc Kusnierz

In episode three of Attack the Backlog, Marc gets some sand in their shoes playing Spec Ops: The Line, a third-person shooter where a small Delta Force squad is sent on a recon mission to find out what happened to Colonel John Konrad and the "Damned" 33rd after a devastating series of sandstorms hit Dubai and all contact was lost, sans one brief message with little information to go on. Spec Ops: The Line originally came out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC back in June of 2012; however, it is also backward compatible on Xbox One. Anyway, something-something horrific and complicit, cheers and enjoy the show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage.
