PSP #367: Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 Review

Marc reviews Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3, a solid, if sometimes buggy, first-person shooter all about, you guessed it, sniping; though, you're free to go machine gun-crazy most of the time if that's what you fancy, but I don't know why you'd play a first-person shooter predominantly about sniping if you weren't into sniping; to each their own, eh. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the show.

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. And don't forget, you can also support the site by shopping at Amazon if that's your jam--you can probably buy jam on Amazon too.

PSP #366: TumbleSeed Review

TumbleSeed is one of Marc's favorite games of 2017, if not their favorite (so far), and they talk all about why it's their favorite (and why it might become one of yours) on today's show. What is TumbleSeed? TumbleSeed is a unique little roguelike where you need to balance a seed on a platform while making your way up a mountain full of various colorful dangers, from holes in the ground to worms with big mouths. Sound weird? Well, it is weird, weird in all the best ways, but don't just take my written word for it, take my spoken word for it too 'cause, after all, that's what this post is all about. Anyway, cheers and enjoy the show (and, hopefully, some TumbleSeed too).

Anyway, that's it and that's all folks, and, if you're feeling extra generous, you can become a patron, donate a little something-something, or subscribe to show your support for the site, podcast(s), and all the ridiculous jazz we make over here at Pixelated Sausage. PSP #365: Snake Pass / Old Time Hockey

Today's episode starts off with a brief discussion about the new live-action Lion King movie and other random nonsense no one cares about. After that, Marc reviews two very different indie games: Snake Pass, where you play a snake who passes kidney stones every now and again, and Old Time Hockey, where you play hockey while punching opposing players in their kidneys with a fist full of stones. Cheers and enjoy the show.

P.S. The thing about the kidney stones is in no way actually true. Just in case you were wondering.

PSP #364: C2E2 / Persona 5 Spoiler-Free Review

Today's episode starts off with a smidgen of this and that about this year's C2E2 before Marc eventually stumbles and mumbles and stammers their way through a spoiler-free review (as spoiler free as a review can be) of Persona 5, which, spoilers, Marc didn't really like despite wanting to [like it] more than how much they want oatmeal each and every morning. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #363: Claymore Anime Review

Today's episode is all the anime, Claymore, based off of a manga (that was still ongoing at the time), which originally came out during the spring 2007 season. Claymore tells the story of a young claymore, a special, manufactured being capable of defeating youma [demons] with relative ease, by the name of Clare who is on a quest for vengeance ever since she chose to become a claymore; there are many battles and deaths along the way, all leading to a final battle that may or may not end the way you'd expect. Anyway, if you want to hear more about Claymore (and what Marc thinks about it), give this here review a listen. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #362: I (Finally) Touched a Switch and I (Kinda) Liked It

Today's episode is all (mostly) about the Nintendo Switch as Marc talks about it once again; however, this time, for the first time, having used one for a few days and change, putting some time into The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Snipperclips, and Puyo Puyo Tetris. In addition to switching things up with some hands-on Switch chatter, Marc also talks a bit more about Persona 5, having played much more of it, and talks about the recent Thor: Ragnarok and Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailers. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #361: The Magnificent Seven: Original vs. Remake, Arsenic and Old Lace, and Charade

Today's episode is all about movies...old movies...old movies such as classic westerns that could be described as magnificent to screwball comedies full of murderous aunts and a man who thinks he's Teddy Roosevelt and everything in between, whatever the hell that might be that could be between such incredibly different movies. But before all that, Marc talks about the Nintendo Switch for the last time, that is, for the last time while not owning one. Anyway, that's (pretty much) it and that's all. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #360: Persona 5, Persona 5, and More Persona 5

Today's show is all about Persona 5 (and just a wee bit about the Nintendo Switch) as Marc does y'all a favor and takes a break from the game so they can talk about it for you and your lovely ears to hear wherever they may be...like up in the air, minus George Clooney of course. Anyway, Marc has played through the first dungeon and does their best to talk about the game without mentioning a single spoiler, so if you want to hear a Persona fan talk about Persona 5, well, enjoy this episode now that it's live. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #359: Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Into the Badlands, and The Magnificent Seven

Marc returns after a decent break with a hodgepodge of topics, from fan service-heavy video games to terrible movie remakes and everything in between, including a TV show where Nick Frost chops off a man's arm by throwing a sword at him (and another man severs a man's head and then immediately punts it 'cause why the funk not, eh). Anyway, if you want to hear Marc talk about Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, Into the Badlands, and The Magnificent Seven (2016), give this episode a listen. Cheers and enjoy the show.

PSP #358: Styx: Shards of Darkness, Wartile, and Blue-Collar Astronaut

Today's episode takes a break from anime and the Nintendo Switch to focus on a handful of indie games, ranging from the more typical like stealth action games and tabletop-inspired strategy games to an arcade physics-based space ship student loan paying wait what game...Anyway, if you want to hear Marc talk about Styx: Shards of Darkness, Wartile, and Blue-Collar Astronaut (and, who am I kidding, more Switch nonsense too), this is the show for you (and a great listen while you poo)! Cheers and enjoy the show.
