Another week of PSN sales and this week, especially, is full of quite the list of discounts. Sure, there's a free Zombie Tycoon game for PlayStation Plus members--which may or may not be good--but the real star of this week's sales is a massive sale based on games that feature characters included in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Is it weird to stem the sale off of that one game that never really did much of anything? Yes. Does it matter? No. Use this time to pick up some great games for super cheap. Anyway, you can find most of the games and whatnot on sale below; for the rest, just check out the front page right here.
This week's Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' is full of a whole bunch of XBLA games for those who are new to the Xbox 360 and/or missed out on previous sales as every game on sale this week has been discounted before, sometime cheaper too. That said, there are some great games to pick up if you haven't already--like Pac-Man Championship DX and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game--so check out the games and whatnot on sale and save some magical points while you can.
To get the games and whatnot, go straight to the Xbox LIVE 'Deal of the Week' page by clicking THIS, or enjoy individual links below. Enjoy them or else! Or else I'll send more empty threats.
This week's episode is a day late because I spent the entire weekend at C2E2--which you can read about here--and we couldn't record until late last night (and then I passed out). It's all nonsense and garbage and terrible singing and your fault because I love you guys enough to record an episode while on the verge of death. Also, because there was no Free Meat Friday this past week, there's a giveaway as part of this episode and all the details can be found within the episode itself; that's right, you actually have to listen in order to win--the prize: a copy of both Darksiders and Red Faction: Armageddon for Steam, donated by old-time buddy (and original podcast co-host) Screenwriterman.
It's a ridiculous show this week as I was tired as shit and, at times, about to lose my voice--which is perfect for podcasting. It starts with a little chatter about C2E2 and then jumps into "What We've Been Playing," followed by some movies, TV shows, and news--like the announcement of an upcoming announcement and something about boobies. Anyway, I do hope you enjoy the show and, won't you do us a kindness and be our favorite neighbor by rating us on iTunes? (Please do.) And if you're feeling extra generous, donate a little money or subscribe to show your support for the site and show(s), it's not free to host the site, the show; to make and record videos, and everything in between. Thanks regardless.
You may or may not know, but C2E2--the Chicago Comics and Entertainment Expo--is currently going on this weekend and I've been spending my days at the show--which is why there is no Free Meat Friday this week, but there will be a giveaway on the upcoming Pixelated Radio (which will be a day late because of all this)--enjoying the focus on actual comics and the always loveliness that is 'Artist Alley.' Anyway, I thought I'd throw up a quick list of shit that has happened so far, and by throw up, I mean vomit. Please, kind sirs and madams, check out my vomit.
- A kid on the bus sang "Gangnam Style" the entire time. Loudly.
- A little girl on the "L" was pole dancing.
- I saw the biggest, saddest Joker walking about with a giant read bucket...
- ...and a Wonder Woman desperately in need of a Wonderbra.
- I ran into an old friend from years ago who I've wondered about for a while.
- I bought numerous bits of art...that are all TMNT related of course.
(Check out some images and whatnot with a tiny tad of itsy bitsy clickage.)
I loved both Zone of the Enders games and right now, the HD Collection for Xbox 360 is pretty damn cheap on Amazon--currently, the PS3 version's discount isn't worth noting (only a buck and change) is not at $17.99 as well. If you never played either game and never picked up the HD collection, now is a great time to change that. (Trust me, it's worth it.)
