WiiMotion + ...Your Dignity

I have a big problem with WiiMotion Plus and so should you. To set up where I'll be going with this little article, let me say that WM+ is quite similar to the RROD of the X360. I know that this may sound odd initially and I may get a bunch of Nintendo fanboys all annoyed with their itchy panties, but just sit and listen.
When you think about the RROD issue you think that the X360 came out too early and that rushing to be first ended up leading to their hardware issue. Well WiiMotion Plus makes me believe that the Nintendo Wii came out too early because this is something that should have been included when the system launched. Nintendo is basically saying , "Hey. That current controller doesn't work too well and now we finally fixed it. Here, go buy it and let's split up our own market!" It's disappointing that Nintendo couldn't get this right from the start because it's not like they had to go out and develop new hardware (the Wii really is two Gamecubes together, right).
Not to mention that Nintendo is constantly splitting their market and trying to get every single Wii owner to buy every peripheral out there. You will need the balance board to fully "play" the drum in "WiiMusic". I quoted "WiiMusic" because it sounds more like rats having an orgy in a trash can than actual music, though I'm sure some of you guys (and gals) are into rat orgies. WiiMotion Plus is also something that a lot of games will start needing. They were already plugging games at E3 saying "And this game will work without WiiMotion Plus". Yay. Thanks for letting me know that this game won't need it, but how about all those other games. No one cares though...all Nintendo has to do is release a new Zelda/Mario and have it require WiiMotion Plus and then everyone will buy it.
I really wish that people would get more upset about this, but Nintendo fans are just too loyal and blind (or maybe just mentally retarded). If Microsoft did something like this the gaming community would have a field day with it, but that isn't the case here. I wish people would just realize that every single company is out there to screw you and make as much money as they can...whether it be Microsoft, Sony, or even your precious Nintendo. It should be obvious that Nintendo is the worse company in this case, but they are Nintendo so I guess it's ok to cover your eyes and act like it's not happening. Well if covering your eyes helped you forget about Bubba and the butt sex then I guess it will work here as well.

The comparison to the 360's RROD issue makes a lot of sense. I know a few people who are upset, but I agree, I thought there would be more of an outrage about it.
Hopefully when the price is announced, we will see more of an uproar. Nintendo should give the WiiMotion Plus free to all Wii owners... They wouldn't be losing any money either because I know that the Wiimote + Nunchuck being $60 together is already overpriced.
But of course they won't give it away free... It really makes me angry that they are doing this. Boo to you Nintendo, boo to you.
....i think is issue is going to hit home harder when developers are going to start only making games that require WM+ and will not support just the original
Well I really hope that people speak up about this issue at some time. This WM+ is honestly worse than the RROD in my eyes and I just can't believe how it's become no big deal at all. No one seems to care at all.
